St. James Canadians AA Hockey - Winnipeg Manitoba
The St James Canadians AA Hockey Association welcomes all players to our annual conditioning Camp. The camp will be held at the beginning of September giving hockey players an opportunity to develop skills and conditioning in a controlled 4 x 4 game format prior to participating in formal team tryouts.
Our 4x4 camp is open to Atom, Peewee, Bantam and Midget players in Manitoba. Players must register in their own age category. The conditioning camp can help prepare players for the upcoming tryouts in AA, community club or high school programs.
Each age groups will be offered about 6 hours of ice time with all ice times completed prior to the start of any tryouts. We encourage players to register as early as possible to secure a spot.
Age Groups are as follows:
Midget (born in 2000 or 2001 or 2002)
Bantam (born in 2003 or 2004)
Peewee (born in 2005 or 2006)
Atom (born in 2007 or 2008)
Note* Goalies may not register as Skaters. We try to make sure the numbers are optimized for the quality of play and inaccurate ratios make it difficult for all participants.

Will be made available when numbers are confirmed

Updated August 28 2017
2017 Camp Information
To help you to prepare for this year’s camp, here is some of the relevant information needed for all participants:
- Check in for camp will begin 45 minutes prior to the start of each group’s first ice time.
- All ice times will be held at Allard Arena, 80 Allard Avenue.
- Players must bring full equipment including neck guards and mouth guards.
- Practice jerseys will be handed out at check in. Players will keep their practice jerseys at the end of camp.
- Players with any medical conditions need to share this information at check in on the first day.
** Cell phones, cameras and other personal communication or recording devices are not allowed in the dressing rooms and should be left with parents or at home for both privacy and security reasons as per Hockey Winnipeg guidelines.
Parents and players should expect that each ice time will be used to help prepare players for the upcoming try-outs. This means that each ice time will be divided into a skill review/development section followed by a 4 on 4 scrimmage.
If you have any questions, concerns, or compliments, please contact Derek Thorsteinson at firstname.lastname@example.org. Your feedback is always appreciated.
Thank you to all parents and players for choosing the AA Canadians to help prepare for the upcoming hockey season and welcome to our annual 4 x 4 Conditioning Camp.
