Tryout Refund Process
Tryouts for AA usually begin the 2nd week of September following our 4x4 Conditioning Camp and runs for about 3 weeks. There are a number of tryout sessions in the process. The first sessions begins with 3 tryouts, after which your child will be provided with a notice on whether they will continue in the AA tryouts or if they will be released back to their area association.
The tryout fee is collected in full prior to the start of the tryout process. If your child is released after the first or second tryout session, we will refund the unused portion of the tryout fees in mid October. Please remit your tryout fee of $150.00 via Interac eTranfer from your online banking. Using the password prompt of 'What game are we playing?' and a response of 'Hockey'; or you may remit a cheque or money order (NO CASH) to St James Canadians Treasurer 2188 Portage Ave Wpg MB R3J 0M2.
If your child is selected to continue in the next session of tryouts you will be informed of the additional tryout times.
If your child is trying out for AAA or high school please keep us advised of their status in the tryout process. If your child is released from either one of these tryouts you will need to contact us so we can give you the next AA tryout ice time for your child to attend. You child is required to attend the AA tryout sessions to be eligible to play AA. If your child moves on in either of those leagues, we will refund your AA tryout registration fee in mid October.
